let me introduce myself…

Hello! My name is Megan! I am a 30-something year old wife, and mama to two, living in the mountains of Colorado. I’m a Minnesota Native and moved to Colorado with my husband in 2014.

I’ve always had a camera in my hand. From being a pre-teen with a disposable camera (anyone else at this age have a million photos with their friends plastered to their bedroom wall?) to babysitting in high school and saving up as much as I could to buy my first point and shoot. My husband gifted me a DSLR for Christmas in 2016 and I started to take photography seriously once my first born child, Emma, came into this world a year later. Us mamas need to capture every beat.

If it wasn’t for a hired photographer to no-call/no-show on me for Emma’s 1st birthday pictures, I probably wouldn’t be here today. After this experience, I realized that I had the desire, I had the equipment, and I had the time to become that person that I was searching for and could not find in my community:

A woman with femininity, beauty and edge in her images, someone dedicated to giving her clients the memories they so want and deserve, and someone local to the mountains who knows the best spots to go.

Long story short, I’m your girl.

More about me:

I am a former indoor girl turned adventure seeker. I love to hike and be by the water in the summer; travel and snowboard in the winter. Without my connection with nature I would be lost. And, what can I say… I love beautiful things so looking at the mountains each and every day gives me that daily reminder of why I am here in Colorado.

My favorite way to wind down though? With a glass of red wine in my hand, a good movie on the TV, and snuggles on the couch with my babies.
